Chapter 45, "Management of Provider Networks", of the eighth edition of Group Insurance, edited by Daniel D. Skwire (ACTEX Learning, 2021), beginning on page 803 of the book, the last chapter of its Section Seven, Financial and Actuarial Analysis. The Society of Actuaries includes the chapter in the GH 301 study notes package, since the Group Insurance text is not used extensively on that course, and describes it as introducing the plan sponsor's key objectives when developing and reviewing provider networks.
