Study guide: Exam FAC
The online e-Learning module of the Society of Actuaries' Fellowship Admissions Course (FAC), the final requirement for the FSA designation. Every FAC candidate completes the module on their own before a virtual or in-person meeting; the SOA says it includes topics such as professionalism, legal duty, code of conduct, ethics and communication skills, with a communication skill-building course embedded in it that offers methods, guidelines and tips for effective presentations.
On the syllabus
- Exam FAC — the SOA publishes no reading list; the course's material is its e-Learning module and the case studies discussed at the meeting
Contents unavailable The module is available only to candidates invited to an FAC, so its content and titles could not be read. This page records the SOA's description of the module from its FAC pages.
